MEET THE

Lying Leadership

  • Governor Gretchen Whitmer

    Gretchen Whitmer

    Governor

    First Elected: 2018

After 5 years in office, Governor Whitmer has set Michigan on the wrong track. She’s led the charge on tax increases, billion dollar handouts to big corporations, and a Green New Deal that will make energy more expensive and less reliable. Many small businesses either fled the state or shut down as a result of her blatant mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of her failed leadership, Michigan is headed for a Second Lost Decade.

  • Dana Nessel

    Dana Nessel

    Michigan Attorney General

    First Elected: 2018

Do you think the income tax is too high? Nessel thinks it’s too low. Do you think gas is too expensive? Nessel doesn't care and continues to pursue shutting down a key energy pipeline which would make fuel cost more.

Thanks to Dana Nessel your income tax is going up this year. And if she has her way in court she’ll shut down Line 5, driving up already skyrocketing gas prices. In Dana Nessel’s Michigan we have less in every wallet, a drink in every hand, and a drag queen in every school.

  • Jocelyn Benson

    Jocelyn Benson

    Secretary of State

    First Elected: 2018

In between her regular appearances on MSNBC, Jocelyn Benson also serves as the Michigan Secretary of State. Remember the good ole days of closed SOS offices during the pandemic? Thank Benson for that one, forcing Michigan drivers to choose between breaking the law or driving to work on an expired license. Remember when you got an absentee ballot application for a dead relative? Again, thank Benson for that one. Under her watch millions of unsolicited absentee applications have been sent out, and local clerks have been advised to presume accuracy of absentee signatures.

  • Garlin Gilchrist

    Garlin Gilchrist

    Lieutenant Governor

    First Elected: 2018

It’s no secret LG Gilchrist stands above the rest. He dodges reporter’s questions about his missed property tax payments and his anti-semetic tweets. Remember the Benton Harbor water crisis? Garlin knew about it for years and did nothing.

  • Joe Tate

    Joe Tate

Speaker of the House | HD 10

    First Elected: 2018

A former MSU lineman, Tate is one tough guy - except when it comes to extremists in his own party. In an effort to appease extreme environmentalists, Joe passed a Michigan Green New Deal that will make energy more expensive and less reliable. He’s dished out billions in taxpayer handouts to his party’s biggest supporters, and pork projects in the state budget for his caucus members while leaving communities his party doesn’t represent out to dry.

  • Winnie Brinks

    Winnie Brinks

Senate Majority Leader | SD 28

    First Elected: 2018

Winnie Brinks is the first Democrat Senate Majority Leader in 40 years, but based on the radical agenda she and her party have rammed through, she may not hold that title for long. Every extreme policy passed this term has her stamp of approval on it: from stripping workers of their freedom to choose with the Right to Work Repeal to driving up energy costs as much as $2,700 per year with the Green New Deal, the list of radical policies that make life in Michigan more expensive and less convenient goes on and on.
