Learn how Lansing Democrats want to send your tax dollars to their campaign donors.

There’s a clear contrast emerging in Lansing. Republicans want to lower taxes and give Michigan families more control over their own money. Democrats like Jaime Churches, Matt Koleszar, and Jennifer Conlin want to raise taxes, and use your dollars to fill their donor’s coffers.

Last year House Democrats repealed Michigan’s Right to Work law, forcing workers to join a union and pay dues even if they don’t want to. Why would they pass legislation that will put our economy in harm's way? It might be because unions are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to bankroll Democrat campaigns. If it were up to House Democrats, everyone’s tax dollars would end up in the hands of unions.

“Michiganders want Lansing to look out for their best interests,” said Zach Rudat, on behalf of Michigan Freedom Network. “Instead, Lansing Democrats are looking out for special interests. Instead of helping families fight inflation, Democrats are sending our tax dollars to their top campaign donors. It’s misguided at best, or pay to play at worst.”

Jaime Churches

Jaime is all about allies! She co-sponsored a bill (now law) that takes funding away from education and hands it out to her friends.  They can pay it forward (in practically unlimited amounts) by giving it back to her campaign. Plus, she’ll use tax dollars to reimburse union dues. She’s got to keep those allies happy!

Matt Koleszar

Disenfranchising Michigan voters is a top priority for Matt this year. He’d also like it if you paid union dues, even (especially) if you’re not in one, so he co-sponsored legislation to do just that! He’s also very concerned with homeschooling households. There needs to be a registry! Parents cannot be trusted.

Jennifer Conlin

Michigan’s housing crisis is at the top of Jennifer’s list. She introduced legislation that would make it easier to sue property owners! She’s certain more damage for the housing market is just what Michigan needs. She also needs every Michigander to pitch in for union dues. Teamwork, everyone!
